Biden Says Its "Time To Pass The Torch" To A New Generation

Biden added: “I have decided the best way forward is to pass the torch to a new generation. That is the best way to unite our nation.”

Meanwhile, some Republicans are pushing for the president to leave office immediately. “If Joe Biden is not fit to run for President, he is not fit to serve as President,” said House Speaker Mike Johnson (R., La.) in a statement. “He must resign the office immediately. November 5 cannot arrive soon enough.”
